	USDA Purchase May 03, 2012 USDA has bought 74,000 bags of dark red kidney and garbanzo beans for export distribution. The purchase is valued at almost $4.5 million. USDA also bought 219,000 bags of split yellow peas and 13,500 bags of lentils.
