Farm prices fell almost four percent last month, but were up fractionally from a year ago. USDA’s all-crop price index declined 2.4 percent in April but is 2.5 percent above last year. The all dry bean price, at $47.90 per cwt, is up 80 cents from March and $16.10 higher than one year ago. Prices farmers paid last month were five percent above last year.
