USDA Buys, Tenders

USDA has announced its purchase of approximately 2,000 bags of pinto beans for export distribution. The beans were bought from Kelley Bean Co. in Hatton, North Dakota. USDA’s purchase also includes 490 metric tons of potato flakes.
USDA is also tendering for more than 19,000 bags of pinto beans for export programs. Bids are due by June 28th. Also part of that tender are 421,000 bags of whole and split yellow peas.
