USDA Needs Beans

USDA is seeking more than 300,000 cases of canned dried beans for use in the National School Lunch Program and other Federal food and nutrition assistance programs. The list of bean needs is as follows:
-Vegetarian 77,760 cases
-Pinto 57,024
-Refried 44,064
-Red kidney 29,376
-Black 25,056
-Blackeye 18,144
-Garbanzo 16,416
-Baby lima 15,552
-Small red 12,096
-Great Northern 5,184
Successful bidders will be announced by midnight July 17th. Deliveries will be made between October 1st and November 30th, 2012.
