Wide World of Weeds.

The Wild World of Weeds Workshop will be held Wednesday, Jan. 26, at the Ramada Plaza Suites and Conference Center in Fargo.

Tom Wolf, University of Saskatchewan application technology specialist, is the featured speaker for the conference, which is being sponsored by NDSU Extension Service.

The conference will begin at 9 a.m. with an update on 2004 NDSU field science research. Wolf will give a presentation on application technology at 1 p.m. Four breakout sessions will be available.

The workshop is intended for agricultural professionals who advise growers on weed control and herbicide use.

Lodging is available at the Ramada Plaza Suites. Call (701) 277-9000 for reservations. A reduced rate is available for those attending the workshop.
 

Pre-registration and payment is required for workshop participants. The participation fee is $70 per person and must be received with a completed registration form by Monday, Jan. 17. Registration forms are available at www.ag.ndsu.nodak.edu/weeds.
