Dry Beans Eligible for Quality Loss Program
November 01, 2001
If you had quality losses of 20% or more in your 2000 dry bean crop, you may be eligible for payment under the Farm Service Agencys (FSA) Quality Loss Program.
The program compensates farmers who suffered at least a 20% loss in 2000-year crop quality due to weather-related disasters. Some gross revenue limits and other restrictions apply.
For more information about the program, contact your local FSA office or USDA Service Center, or visit the FSA web site www.fsa.usda.gov.
